W2 is a small team in Madeira building websites, software, AI automation and tap tags for the island's businesses. This is our story.

London, W2
The name comes from a postcode
W2 started on Westbourne Grove, in the W2 postcode of London, working side by side with the small businesses on the street: cafés, shops, salons and offices.
First, NFC
We started with cards you tap
Our first product was NFC cards and tags: one tap of a phone and the customer landed on the website, the menu or the contact details. That is how we learned what businesses really need: less paper, less wasted time and more customers.
Then, software
Customers asked for more
Next came the websites that bring in bookings, the dashboards to run the day and the automation that answers on its own. We moved into custom software, always with the same rule: show first, charge later.
Today, Madeira
The team is growing in Santa Cruz
We came to Madeira because the island has excellent businesses and hard-working people who deserve the same tools as the big brands. We are building the team here, to make life easier for local businesses.

A note from the founder

We left London and brought W2 to Madeira, to put the kind of tools we watched help small businesses grow in London to work for the businesses on the island.
We do not believe in selling packages or monthly fees. We believe in understanding the business, doing the work and letting the result speak for itself. If it does not make sense for you, we will say so, and you pay nothing.
